What started as a pre-kids (we now have 3) craft project turned into a mini business called "Nest" that really had us cranking these little houses out for a while. Made from old vintage books and reclaimed wood pulled from dumpsters these bad boys are the epitome of a recycle/build project - the screws are the only thing that we purchased for them (even the paint was leftover from old projects).
Whats nice about them is that they can fit well into any type of space and can work as a gift that (given the right book) is specifically suited for the recipient. Over the last couple of years we've found a couple of books that we just couldn't part with and have ended up parking them around our house in different spots until we find just the right person to give them to.
